Thought I would try something different for this piece. Most of my photomanips end up looking almost like digital paintings or 3D renderings. I wanted to try to make a scene of fantasy creatures that looks *real*.

The scene is inspired by the film The Last Unicorn, which was one of my favorites when I was a child. I had this photograph of the waves, and was trying to decide what sort of creature to put in it and unicorns popped into my head. If you've seen the film you know why.

This isn't a complete list (I got the narwhal horns from some web search and I think I used some lion tails, heavily manipulated... possibly a few other random things), but this is most of it.
